Man Held in Attack on Ex-Lover, Her Father

A man wanted for stabbing and seriously wounding his former girlfriend and her father turned himself in at a police station and was being booked for attempted murder, authorities said Thursday.
Vu Phuong Nguyen, 30, of Garden Grove surrendered about 9:15 p.m., authorities said.
The two victims, whose names were not released, were hospitalized in critical condition after being stabbed at their apartment building in the 13400 block of Laurel Street, said Mike Handfield, a police spokesman.
