* Arizona 9, at Florida 6: The Diamondbacks bounced back from a 14-5 loss with 15 hits, including a two-run homer by Chris Snyder, to win for the 18th time in 23 games.
* New York 10, at Pittsburgh 8: Moises Alou hit a two-run homer in a five-run first inning as the Mets did all of their scoring in the first and ninth innings.
* Colorado 3, at San Diego 0: Rookie Ubaldo Jimenez (2-2) threw six shutout innings and rookie Ian Stewart had a pinch-hit, two-run single in the seventh to lift the Rockies.
* at Washington 4, Philadelphia 2: Tim Redding (2-3) drove in two runs and limited the Phillies to two runs and three hits in six-plus innings.
* Cincinnati 11, at Chicago 9: Pinch-hitter Josh Hamilton hit a two-run, tiebreaking homer in the eighth inning of a game delayed by 1 hour 31 minutes at the start by rain.
* St. Louis 8, at Milwaukee 3: Pinch hitter Joe Dillon tripled in the eighth, helping the Brewers set a franchise record with a triple in each of their last seven games.
* at Dodgers 6, Houston 3: Jason Jennings fell to 0-7 in his last 10 starts at Dodger Stadium after winning the first time he pitched there on Aug. 29, 2001 for the Colorado Rockies.
