Does any singer-songwriter in his mid-20s need a career retrospective?

OK, we’ll spot you Nick Drake, but anybody with a serious itch to relive the post-2002 career of plucky indie-rocker Ben Kweller can get it commencing Sept. 5 at the Echo, where he is booked for three successive nights. At each show he’ll play a different one of his solo albums, “Sha Sha,” “On My Way” and “Ben Kweller,” in its entirety.

Kweller’s shows will coincide with those of Grammy winner Lucinda Williams, who’ll be doing the same thing with five of her albums starting the same night across town at the El Rey.
