I have to take a moment to commend The Times and Geoff Boucher, specifically, on the “SoCal Songbook” series. The terrific piece on Brian Wilson’s creation of “California Girls” [Aug. 12] was exceptional.
The rich heritage of these great Southern California songwriters is of great interest to all.
