Resignations owed by greedy officials

Re “Officials’ city loans probed by D.A.,” Dec. 25
There is a very dark cloud hanging over Inglewood that is filled with the greed of certain elected officials, who put themselves before the citizenry they were elected to serve.
Where did the concept of public service go? When did it become fashionable for elected officials to access municipal funds for personal use in purchasing or maintaining their homes? Are we expected to believe that low-interest returns on municipal funds now equal prudent budget practices? Whom do we hold accountable for authorizing these expenditures? As a resident of Inglewood, I must ask, where is the fiduciary responsibility of our elected officials?
Since the very essence of public trust and integrity has been violated and compromised by a few, Inglewood residents should at the very least expect the resignations of those greedy officials for the public good of the city.
