USC (8-6, 1-2) vs. Stanford (12-2, 2-1), 2 p.m., Prime Ticket -- The Trojans badly need a victory after dropping their second straight game, 57-52, to No. 10 California. After they were outrebounded, 50-30, against Cal, inside presence Nadia Parker (11.8 points, 6.7 rebounds) can’t afford to get into foul trouble. Stanford, ranked No. 2, is coming off a 69-56 loss to UCLA, and is led by Candice Wiggins (18.3 points). She is among three players averaging double figures, along with 6-4 forwards Jayne Appel (15.3) and Kayla Pedersen (12.2).

UCLA (7-7, 2-1) vs. California (12-2, 3-0), 12:30 p.m. -- The Bruins hope to ride the wave of their upset of Stanford, the highest-ranked opponent they have defeated in the program’s history. Darxia Morris had 20 points, five assists and three steals. The No. 10 Golden Bears committed 24 turnovers in their victory at USC.
