* at Cleveland 92, Minnesota 84: LeBron James was a game-time decision after spraining his right ankle during Wednesday night’s loss to Boston. But the NBA’s leading scorer showed no effects from the injury against the Timberwolves. He had 30 points and 13 assists and fell two rebounds short of his seventh triple-double of the season.
* at Boston 108, Charlotte 100: The Celtics avenged their only double-digit defeat of the season, a 95-83 loss on Jan. 9 that ended a nine-game winning streak. Before the game, the Bobcats announced the release of veteran guard Jeff McInnis. In 54 games this season, he averaged 4.5 points and 4.1 assists
* Indiana 122, at Toronto 111: Mike Dunleavy matched his career high with 36 points to lead the Pacers. The Raptors lost forward Chris Bosh late in the first quarter to a sore right knee. He finished with seven points and five rebounds.
* at Atlanta 99, New York 93: Mike Bibby set up a go-ahead, alley-oop dunk by Josh Smith with 1:12 left. Bibby, playing his second home game since his trade to Atlanta, had his second consecutive double-double with 11 points and 10 assists.
* Washington 97, at Chicago 91: The Wizards started the third quarter with a 22-1 run and outscored the Bulls 35-14, in the period to turn a 52-34 deficit into a 69-66 lead. The Wizards pulled away late in the fourth quarter to win for just the fourth time in 15 games.
* at Houston 116, Memphis 95: The Rockets extended their winning streak to 14, the longest streak in the NBA this season. They are one shy of the longest winning streak in franchise history, reached twice. It was also their 18th win in the last 19 games.
* at New Orleans 110, Utah 98: Peja Stojakovic’s three-point basket gave the Hornets a 102-91 lead with 3:30 left. Three-point shots by Stojakovic and Chris Paul keyed a 23-0 run in the first quarter.
* Miami 103, at Seattle 93: Dwyane Wade, who had consecutive sub-20-point games this week for the first time this season, scored 31 points to help give the Heat just their third victory in the last 30 games.
* at Golden State 119, Philadelphia 97: The Warriors have won 29 consecutive games, including the playoffs, when keeping their opponent under 100 points. Both teams are eighth in their respective conferences’ playoff races, but Golden State is 10 games ahead of the 76ers on the season -- a sign of the quality gap between the conferences.
* at Dallas 115, Sacramento 106: The Mavericks used runs of 18-0, 15-0 and 10-2 to take charge against the Kings.
* at Denver 110, Clippers 104: It was George Karl’s 864th victory, tying him with Jack Ramsay for 10th place on the career coaching list.
* at Portland 119, Lakers 111: The Lakers have lost five in a row at the Rose Garden.
