A 13-year-old girl was struck and killed by a commuter train at a crossing, authorities said Saturday.
Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn said investigators believe the girl intentionally stepped in front of a train Friday at 10:45 p.m. Dunn said a suicide note was found at the scene.
The girl is the third person this year to be fatally struck by a Caltrain at the East Meadow Drive crossing in Palo Alto, Dunn said.
No passengers were injured.
