Terrorism trials: An Op-Ed article Nov. 29 regarding 9/11 defendants should have said that Syed Hashmi has spent “more than two years” in solitary confinement, not “nearly two years.” Also, Atty. Gen. Eric H. Holder Jr. is the nation’s top law enforcement officer, not top lawmaker.

Species extinction: A Nov. 30 Op-Ed article about threatened species said that great white sharks could be found in South Africa, off the coast of Cape Horn. It should have said the Cape of Good Hope. Also, the article referred to a documentary about the subject airing on Dec. 8 on MSNBC. The program is scheduled to air on Dec. 6.
