Two women were arrested Saturday after being found with illegal drugs at Los Angeles International Airport near Terminal 6, police said.
Airport police conducting random vehicle inspections found a small amount of marijuana in the women’s vehicle, LAX police Sgt. Jim Holcomb said. The amount was so small that the women would have been released, Holcomb said, but a routine check revealed that they were wanted on unrelated charges.
