Long Beach State edges Cal State Fullerton

Long Beach State 75, at Cal State Fullerton 74: Stephan Gilling had 17 points and Larry Anderson had 16 for the 49ers, 13-11 overall and 8-4 in the Big West Conference. The Titans (13-13, 7-7) played for the last shot, but Aaron Thompson lost the ball as he dribbled across the top of the key. Josh Akognon scored 27 points for Fullerton, going five for eight from three-point range.
at UC Santa Barbara 67, Pacific 57: Chris Devine had 26 points and eight rebounds to lead the Gauchos (11-13, 5-7 Big West) to their first three-game winning streak of the season. Chad Troyer finished with 11 points to lead Pacific (14-10, 7-6).
at UC Irvine 73, Cal State Northridge 51: Eric Wise scored 16 of his 18 points in the second half to lead the Anteaters (9-17, 6-7 Big West) to the upset victory over the Matadors (12-11, 8-4). Patrick Rembert scored 13 points and had six assists for Irvine, which held Northridge to 36.5% shooting.
