One man was killed and another wounded in a shooting outside a party, police said.
The two victims, who have been identified only as 25- and 26-year-old men from Long Beach, were at a party Friday night in the 500 block of Olive Avenue when a gunman approached about 10:40 p.m. and began shooting, according to Long Beach police.
The 26-year-old man was found lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and was pronounced dead at the scene. The 25-year-old was taken to a hospital, where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
