Dog Whisperer: Cesar helps Rhona Mitra (“Boston Legal”) curb her bulldog’s violent tendencies, which first manifested themselves after a very ugly encounter with a pit bull, in this new episode (5 and 8 p.m. National Geographic).
School Pride: This new episode brings the pride team to Detroit, where the Communication and Media Arts High School, an institution with a proud tradition of student achievement, is slated to be closed because it is falling apart (8 p.m. NBC).
Smallville: During a Thanksgiving visit with Lois and Clark (Erica Durance, Tom Welling), Lois’ dad (Michael Ironside), reveals his dislike for superheroes and his efforts to pass a vigilante registration law in this new episode (8 p.m. KTLA).
Supernanny: In the season premiere Jo Frost faces one of her most challenging families yet — a blended clan that includes two teenagers (Mom’s), a 10-year-old (Dad’s) and two preschoolers (theirs) (8 p.m. ABC).
Supernatural: Dean (Jensen Ackles) begins to suspect there’s something about the brothers’ grandfather (Mitch Pileggi), that he’s not telling, but he has a hard time convincing Sam (Jared Padalecki) that anything is wrong in this new episode (9 p.m. KTLA).
Teach: Tony Danza: Two of his students cheat on a test and Tony chaperones the homecoming dance in this new episode. (10 p.m. A&E). The season finale follows at 11.
