Riverside ends 11-game losing streak to Northridge

UC Riverside 70, at Cal St. Northridge 61: The Highlanders (7-8, 2-1 Big West) got hot in the second half and ended an 11-game losing streak against the Matadors (4-12, 1-3).
at Cal Poly SLO 58, Cal State Fullerton 54: The Mustangs (7-8, 3-1 Big West) rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit behind David Hanson’s 25 points. The Titans fell to 6-11, 2-3.
at UC Santa Barbara 71, UC Irvine 58: James Nunnally and Orlando Johnson scored 22 points each and the Gauchos (9-6, 2-2 Big West) defeated the Anteaters (7-10, 1-3).
at Portland 79, Loyola Marymount 78 (2OT): Luke Sikma scored 24 points and the Pilots (13-4, 1-1 West Coast Conference) barely hung on to defeat the Lions (8-9, 1-2).
at Gonzaga 92, Pepperdine 75: The Bulldogs (12-5, 2-0 WCC) made 18 of their first 24 shots and Robert Sacre never missed on his way to a career-high 24 points. Lorne Jackson scored 18 points for Pepperdine (7-13, 1-2).
WOMEN
at No. 10 UCLA 58, Oregon St. 46: Darxia Morris scored 16 points and the Bruins (14-1, 4-0 Pac-10) took command with an 11-0 run to start the second half. UCLA is off to its best start since 1976-77. The Beavers fell to 7-9, 0-5.
at USC 79, Oregon 76: Ashley Corral made a jump shot with 57 seconds left to put the Trojans (11-4, 3-1) ahead and Briana Gilbreath scored with seven seconds remaining to clinch it.
