Designed by the Light Group, the folks who brought us popular Vegas hot spots like Bellagio’s Bank, Haze takes nightlife one step further in a dramatic 25,500-square-foot cutting-edge space. The vibe here is positively trippy — suede walls, plush surfaces, a 70-foot wall of lights and full-color laser light shows, plus a hundred square feet of interactive projection screens on a performance structure (don’t you dare call it a stage) that hosts impromptu acts by world-renowned guest artists. An innovative sound system heightens the effect, making you feel as if the music — an eclectic mix of hip-hop, dance and top 40 — is coming straight out of your head.
The club boasts three bars and a massive elevated dance floor. Scantily clad waitresses roam about, serving free shots (though the tip is very obligatory). The atmosphere is theatrical and interactive — go-go dancers fling free glowsticks into the crowd, confetti drops from the ceiling at random intervals and aerial dancers perform in time with the music, while a fog machine keeps it all … hazy.
