The American Cinematheque’s Aero Theatre is celebrating the legacy of Leonard Nimoy, who died in February at age 83, with a three-day tribute that showcases his versatility as an actor and director. “Leonard Nimoy Remembered” kicks off Friday with the 1978 sci-fi thriller “Invasion of the Body Snatchers,” in which he appears with Donald Sutherland, as well two of his 1964 episodes of the ABC series “The Outer Limits.” For Spock fans, Saturday’s offerings feature 1982’s “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan” and the two installments Nimoy directed — 1984’s “Star Trek III: The Search for Spock” and 1986’s “Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.” Nicholas Meyer, who directed “Star Trek II,’ and the actor’s son, Adam, will be there. The April 19 double bill features 1981’s “Vincent,” which he stars in and directs, and the rarely seen 1966 drama “Deathwatch.” For more information, go to https://www.americancinematheque.com
