Lady Gaga dirtied her fake dreads at the South by Southwest festival on Thursday night, inviting a female friend onstage to guzzle a bottle of colored liquid and expel said ingested substance onto her. (Details here, if you want them.) The pop star credited a rebellion from her handlers’ expectations of beauty as inspiration for the rough-edged show. “”I wanted to look ugly all the time,” she said at a keynote address the following day. The U.S. president sat down with Zack Galifianakis for an interview on the actor’s comedy Web series, “Between Two Ferns,” to plug the Affordable Care Act — matching Galifianakis joke for joke. (Galifianakis: “”I have to know — what is it like to be the last black president?” Obama: “What’s it like for this to be the last time you ever talk to a president?”) Scripted or not, Obama’s attempt at grabbing the attention of a younger demographic worked. Add Rogen to the list of stars who have spoken out against the pop star after his slew of bad behavior. “In my opinion, Justin Bieber is a piece of ...,” he said on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live.” “He’s obnoxious and ungrateful and insincere and he puts people’s lives in danger.” (Michael Reynolds / EPA)
“I’m always relieved on the days I don’t have to [act]. I’d rather give parts to other women than be the woman having the parts,” Dunham said in a Glamour interview. Fans, don’t despair — for the “Girls” creator, time away from the screen may mean more time writing strong female parts. “Our male lead, Adam Driver, has had a bang-up year in movies which could not be more deserved,” she later said at a SXSW event. But the girls are still waiting patiently for parts that are going to honor their intelligence and their ability.” (Jack Plunkett / Associated Press)

It has been an honor to work with such a creative artist with a great vision,” said Adrian Joffe, chief executive of Comme des Garcons Parfum SA. But Fey says fans should not get their hopes up: “No, it’s definitely not a movie. It’s just the anniversary is coming up, so everybody get your pink shirts. It’s been 10 years. You can tell when you look at me. It’s been 10 years,” she quipped. (Kevin Winter/ Getty Images)
