Count your blessings: Miranda Lambert and Sting will perform on ‘Thanksgiving Day Parade on CBS’

Get ready to make some room at your Thanksgiving table for some musical guests.
Multi-Grammy winner Sting and country superstar Miranda Lambert have been tapped to perform at this year’s “Thanksgiving Day Parade on CBS.” The special will also include performances by the casts of the Broadway musicals “The Color Purple,” “On Your Feet!” and “School of Rock.”
Kevin Frazier of “Entertainment Tonight” and Keltie Knight of “The Insider” will host the event live from New York City on Nov. 24. The three-hour special will be broadcast live starting at 9 a.m. Eastern time, but will air at 1 p.m. on the West Coast.
The CBS special will feature portions of the 90th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, which will air in its entirety live on NBC beginning at 9 a.m.
