Egypt aid: In the Oct. 10 Section A, an article about U.S. aid to Egypt quoted Shadi Hamid, a Middle East expert at the nonpartisan Brookings Institution, as saying that additional warplanes and tanks “are critical in the short term at least.” The quote should have said “aren’t critical.”
Movie audience tracking: A graphic accompanying an article in the Oct. 8 Section A about movie audience tracking said that “The Lone Ranger” opened July 5. It opened on July 3.
