2 injured in crash involving Metro bus and SUV in downtown L.A.

Two people were injured Monday evening in an accident involving a Metro bus and an SUV in downtown Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Fire Department received a call at 7:20 p.m. about the crash at 16th Street and Los Angeles Street.
Two people suffered minor injuries, authorities said. One of them was taken to a hospital while the other declined to go to the hospital, according to the LAFD.
The crash pushed the SUV onto the sidewalk where it landed on its side. The Metro bus’ windshield was smashed in the collision, according to video from the scene.
No details were available Tuesday morning about what caused the accident.
