I’m not typically a fan of the “dog days” of summer. But one of the best parts about this time of year is that football season is right around the corner.
Roger Clay captures the sentiment and hope of this part of the season in this image of a youth football punter after a kick during a late summer practice in Eastvale, the ball frozen in mid-air.
Clay used a Leica D-lux 6 to make the photo.
