Four people were stabbed Friday night by a man on an Amtrak train traveling from Chicago to Port Huron, police in Niles, Mich., confirmed.
The stabbings happened on Train 364 when it was at the Niles train station about 7 p.m., said Kimberly Woods, an Amtrak spokeswoman.
It is unclear how severe their wounds are, but all the victims were taken to the hospital, police said.
A 44-year-old male passenger has been arrested in connection with the stabbings, police said.
There were 172 passengers on the train, Woods said.
