N.Y. Rep. Crowley’s “No Jobs Bill Blues”

Democratic Rep. Joseph Crowley of New York got his Bob Dylan on on the House floor Thursday, using a technique the performer made famous in a 1960s video.
Crowley, silently pulling pages from a large clipboard in the manner of “Subterranean Homesick Blues,” was criticizing Republicans for failing to focus on job-creation legislation during their first 100 days in office. The House spent much of the afternoon currently debating legislation to de-fund Planned Parenthood and the Democratic healthcare initiative.
Here’s the video, and although it’s a little less thrilling than Dylan’s original, at least this one’s in color.
