Tidepool docent training planned

The Laguna Ocean Foundation, which is dedicated to sustainable ecosystems along the coast, is seeking volunteers for its tidepool docent program.
Training will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Ocean Institute, 24200 Dana Point Harbor Drive, Dana Point.
Participants must be at least 18 and able to volunteer at one of the coastal tidepool sites once monthly. Tidewater docents educate visitors on how to protect coastal resources.
