Baseball: Chaminade’s Blake Rutherford is No. 3 among top juniors

MaxPreps.com has come out with a list of 50 top high school junior baseball players, and Chaminade outfielder Blake Rutherford is No. 3.

Spencer Steer, a shortstop-pitcher at Long Beach Millikan, is No. 15.

Others listed include No. 18 pitcher Reggie Lawson of Victor Valley, No. 21 shortstop Chase Strumpf of JSerra, No. 23 catcher Blake Sabol of Aliso Niguel, No. 30 pitcher Kevin Gowdy of Santa Barbara and No. 46 outfielder Josh Stephen of Mater Dei.
