Boys’ soccer: Servite is the team to beat in Division 1
- Share via
So the preseason Southern Section polls have come out in soccer, and Servite is ranked No. 4 in Division I.
Somebody messed up big time.
Servite is the clear favorite to win it all. The Friars could have as many as 10 players committed to colleges by the end of the season. If you beat Servite this year, you deserve to celebrate.
Among the players already committed are Elijah Barajas, Oscar Flores and Roman Manning to Cal State Fullerton; James Cook to St. Louis and junior Zane Rojas to Army. Dylan Smith, a standout club player, is committed to UC Riverside but hasn’t decided if he’s going to play high school.
Polls don’t matter until the end of the season, and expect Servite to be at the top.
