Boys’ volleyball: Redondo wins beach championship

Redondo won the first Boys’ Interscholastic Beach Volleyball League championship on Saturday, defeating Dana Hills in the final. Redondo finished unbeaten.
The team was led by seniors Louis Richard, Devon Burki, Eric Beranek, Vince Pizzuti and Tyler Bird, plus junior Tanner Smith and freshman Logan Glave.
There were 15 schools competing with three pairs of doubles teams. The finals were held at Anneberg Community Beach House in Santa Monica.
