Football: Big games for QBs Alexander Diamont, Cristian Solano

Two of the top quarterbacks in the City Section, Alexander Diamont of Venice and Cristian Solano of San Fernando, continued to their All-City form on Friday.
In a 34-7 victory over Palisades, Diamont completed 16 of 17 passes for 326 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for a touchdown.
In a 55-7 victory over Reseda, Solano was 21 of 24 for 420 yards and seven touchdowns. He also rushed for 63 yards. Charles Bell had five catches for 150 yards and four touchdowns along with an interception on defense. Jose Camargo caught 10 passes for 166 yards.
Lavell Thompson of South Gate rushed for 188 yards and scored four touchdowns in a 32-26 vicitory over Bell.
