Football: Centennial-IMG game will test theory about ‘talent’
- Share via
The most intriguing part of Saturday’s Honor Bowl football game between Corona Centennial and Florida’s IMG Academy at 7:30 p.m. at Mission Viejo will be testing the theory how a team with a lot more talent supposedly always wins out.
IMG has players from around country and from different countries. It’s the best of the best, an all-star team.
Centennial certainly isn’t lacking in talent but doesn’t have the numbers of supposedly elite players that IMG has.
But Centennial has a system that works year after year no matter who’s running it, thanks to Coach Matt Logan and his assistants.
It will be interesting to see the contrast and whether talent really does win out in the end.
