Football: Former Sherman Oaks Notre Dame QB Grant Kraemer will start at Drake

It’s been quite a comeback for former Sherman Oaks Notre Dame quarterback Grant Kraemer.
Despite two surgeries in the past year after breaking his arm playing for Glendale College last fall, Kraemer has been promoted to starting quarterback at Drake University.
He had come off the bench the last two games, completing five of seven passes for 57 yards and one touchdown agaisnt Quincy and then 12 of 18 passes for 133 yards and one touchdown last week against South Dakota State. Now he’ll be starting for Drake.
Kraemer’s father, Jeff, was a longtime assisstant coach at Notre Dame until his retirement.
