Football: Pollsters show a lack of respect for Corona Centennial
- Share via
Let’s hear it for the Inland Division poll voters who have Corona Centennial (6-2) ranked No. 3 behind No. 1 Vista Murrieta and No. 2 Rancho Cucamonga.
I think they’re showing a lack of respect for the Huskies.
Since losses to Long Beach Poly and Alemany of the Pac-5 Division, the Huskies have scored 55, 43, 70 and 55 points. Their defense is getting better.
Robert Webber has passed for 2,078 yards and 15 touchdowns. Tre Watson has rushed for 1,959 yards and 30 touchdowns.
Their opponent on Friday night, Corona Santiago, should put up a good fight, but I’m still picking Centennial to win the Inland Division.
