The heavier lifting is still to come for Kings management but the front office has checked another item off its list, announcing Tuesday that winger Jordan Nolan signed a three-year contract extension.
Nolan, 25, would have become a restricted free agent this summer, one of many on the Kings’ roster. The average annual value of the contract is $950,000, according to TSN Radio’s Bob McKenzie.
In 36 games this season, Nolan has four goals and is a minus-five. Three of his four goals have come in the last 10 games.
