Update: Coming off a 1-0 victory over the Portland Timbers last Saturday, Chivas USA looks to move up the Western Conference standings. Forward Marcos Mondaini scored the winner against Portland in his first action after a four-game suspension. Midfielder Paulo Nagamura assisted on the goal in only his second game of the year as he battled a strained calf. Chivas has notched five goals in its last three games. Houston is coming off a 2-0 loss last Saturday at San Jose and is mired in a seven-match winless streak, its last victory coming on April 29.
