NFC notes: Giants seek their first five-game win streak since 2011 Super Bowl run

Arizona Cardinals: Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald, who grew up in Minneapolis and once served as the Vikings’ ball boy, has 22 catches over last two games.
Atlanta Falcons: Tight end Jacob Tamme underwent season-ending surgery on his shoulder this week. He had 22 catches for 210 yards and three touchdowns this season.
Carolina Panthers: Linebacker Luke Kuechly suffered a concussion and was carted off the field during the Panthers’ 23-20 victory over the Saints on Thursday night.
Chicago Bears: Jordan Howard rushed for 100 yards last week. Howard ranks second among NFL rookies with 605 yards rushing, despite making only six starts.
Dallas Cowboys: Cornerback Orlando Scandrick is expected to be OK coming out of concussion protocol, and is looking for his fourth straight home game with sack.
Detroit Lions: Anquan Boldin leads the Lions with five touchdown receptions and is one of four players to have five TD catches in a single season with four different teams.
Green Bay Packers: Linebacker Nick Perry had 21/2 sacks of Washington quarter- back Kirk Cousins in the Packers’ wild-card win over the Redskins last season.
Minnesota Vikings: Kicker Kai Forbath will make his Vikings debut after the release of Blair Walsh. The Vikings have lost four straight games for the first time since 2013.
New Orleans Saints: Two weeks in a row, Will Lutz has had a kick blocked. First, a PAT attempt was returned for two points, and Thursday a kick was returned 73 yards.
N.Y. Giants: The Giants are seeking their first five-game win streak since their Super Bowl run in 2011. Their last such run in the regular season came in 2010.
Philadelphia Eagles: Darren Sproles is the second player with at least 500 career catches, rush attempts and kickoff and punt returns. Eric Metcalf was the first.
RAMS: Todd Gurley is tied for 17th among running backs with 515 yards rushing and is averaging 3.1 yards per carry. He has just three touchdown runs.
San Francisco 49ers: The 49ers had allowed a 100-yard rusher a record seven straight games before holding David Johnson to 55 yards and Arizona to 80 last week.
Seattle Seahawks: Running back Thomas Rawls is expec- ted to play for the first time since Week 2 (leg). Rookie C.J. Prosise had 153 yards from scrimmage last week.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The Buccaneers have won four straight in their series with the Chiefs. Mike Evans has eight touchdown catches, tied for the most in NFL.
Washington Redskins: The Redskins’ defense has made three sacks in five consecutive games. Preston Smith had two sacks and interception vs. Minnesota last week.
