USC assistant coaches Marques Tuiasosopo and Clay Helton will visit Avon (Conn.) Old Farms High tight end Chris Clark on Tuesday, Clark told The Times.
Clark is committed to Michigan, but he has said he would take an official visit to USC.
Clark could switch his commitment. Coach Brady Hoke’s job is thought to be on shaky ground after Michigan went 5-7 this year, and Clark has been critical of the Wolverines’ season on social media.
“Man, Michigan has officially hit rock bottom,” Clark tweeted after the Wolverines’ 23-16 loss to Maryland on Nov. 22.
Tight end remains a priority for USC in the 2015 class. The departure of fifth-year senior Randall Telfer leaves Jalen Cope-Fitzpatrick and Bryce Dixon as the only scholarship tight ends.
Moraga Campolindo tight end Tyler Petite was a top target in 2015, but he committed to Duke in July.
