Quote of the day: “I used to like ‘SC growing up. I probably put it as one of my favorite teams growing up. Being from [California], I just kind of take it personally cause they -- in high school they recruited me but they didn’t say too much more when I got to junior college. So I just kind of take it personal. I’m going to go out there and do what I do best.”
-- Devontae Booker, Utah running back
USC, ranked 20th, plays 19th-ranked Utah on Saturday at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.
The Trojans improved to 5-2 overall, 4-1 in Pac-12 Conference play after a 56-28 victory over Colorado at the Coliseum.
Utah -- 5-1, 2-1 -- needed double overtime to defeat Oregon State, 29-23, last Thursday in Corvallis, Ore.
