TenOverSix, Lake & Stars team for peep show of lingerie

Firing up a suggestive scenario for Valentine’s Day, the Lake & Stars, a 2-year-old cult lingerie brand, is teaming with accessory boutique TenOverSix for a peep show-themed tent installation that opens today and runs through Feb. 21.
The Lake & Stars’ Wild West suspender-inspired spring collection features $220 rompers with metallic lace and vintage crystal details, $44 mesh high-waist briefs with herringbone trim, and the label’s signature $115 no-wire mesh bra, embellished with a pin-on feather. The New York-based line’s trademark nude and navy are spiced with chartreuse, hot pink and tangerine details. And jewelry from L.A.-based Jennifer Meyer is available to accent intimate ensembles.
Designers Maayan Zilberman and Nikki Dekker of the Lake & Stars (a name drawn from a Victorian boudoir expression) will greet shoppers Feb. 10 for an in-store performance by nouveau country crooner Samantha Shelton, with Champagne -- as well as Morello cherry, sesame butter and fig chocolates from local chocolatier Ococoa -- to help set the mood.
7427 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles. (323) 330-9355. Noon to 5 p.m. Sunday and Monday. 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday. www.tenover6.com
