Get free or discounted airfare on your next Norwegian Cruise Line cruise, if you book soon

If you’ve been thinking about your next vacation but putting off a decision, Norwegian Cruise Line’s new airfare deal might light a fire under you.
The company is offering free and reduced round-trip airfare for many of its cruises to the Caribbean, Hawaii, Alaska and other destinations in the U.S. and Canada. Sail as early as next month, or as late as next September.
There are a couple of catches: Don’t wait too long — the special ends Oct. 31.
And, in most cases, you can’t book an inside room. You’ll have to upgrade to an ocean view or balcony room to get the deal.
The promotion includes free or reduced round-trip economy class airfare for up to two guests flying from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and more than 100 other airports across the U.S. and Canada. Cruises depart from Honolulu, New Orleans, New York City, Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Tampa, Fla., Seattle and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Most passengers who reserve an ocean-view, balcony or mini-suite stateroom receive free or discounted airfare, as do cruisers who book Haven- and Concierge-level cabins.
But there are differences depending on destination. For instance, round-trip flights to Seattle and New Orleans are free, while to Miami and Fort Lauderdale, they’re $299.
If you’re heading for Hawaii to sail on the Pride of America, you’d pay $299 round trip from LAX. What would your cruise total be? The lowest price, excluding taxes and port fees, would be $2,897 for two guests staying in an inside cabin, including reduced airfare and a free one-night pre-cruise hotel stay.
Additionally, if you plan to take along family or friends, third through eighth guests (for groups), receive 35% off Norwegian’s regular air and sea rates.
The free air promotion can be combined with other specials, including an unlimited internet package.
