Alaska cruise brings winning Seattle Seahawks and fans together

How about those amazing Seattle Seahawks? If you miss out on seeing them at Super Bowl XLIX next month, Princess Cruises has another idea: Take a fan cruise to Alaska in June that lets you sail with the players.
Passengers on the Seahawks Fan Cruise will meet members of the Seahawks (no word yet on who) as they board at certain ports and sail for several days of the weeklong cruise, a spokeswoman says.
It’s a chance to get autographs and photos as well as indulge in football activities onboard ship. You can expect to see alumni players during Q&A sessions, and mascot Blitz and the Sea Gals too.
And there will be tailgate parties -- without the tailgate. Hot dogs and beer will be served while football-themed movies play on the huge poolside screen. Seahawks trivia contests and a chance to win swag keep the gridiron vibe going.
The ship leaves Seattle on June 20 and stops at Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and tours the Tracy Arm Fjord too. It continues to Victoria, Canada (don’t forget to bring your passport), before returning to Seattle.
The cost is $999 per person, based on double occupancy.
And there’s an extra perk: Book by Feb. 26 and take advantage of the cruise line’s 50th Anniversary Sale. It includes $100 onboard credit and dinner for two at one of the ship’s specialty restaurants.
Princess shows games on its poolside LED screen.
