If you’re taking your children skiing in Colorado, check out “The Kid’s Guide to Denver, Boulder & Colorado’s Ski Country,” by Eileen Ogintz, longtime author of the syndicated “Taking the Kids” column.
The just-released book is one in a series that focuses on things kids want to and need to know when traveling.
This one offers insights on ski schools, the right gear, ski etiquette and more — and that’s just the skiing chapter.
Ogintz said she interviewed dozens of kids to provide their insights (a 9-year-old, for instance, always carries “a package of hand warmers in my pockets” on the slopes.”)
Other books in the series include Los Angeles County, Washington, D.C., and Orlando, Fla.
