Connie Harrington and her husband, Bernie, came across this scene during an after-dinner stroll in Amsterdam. On their three-week European trip this summer, the couple also took an eight-day Rhine River cruise. “It was thrilling to look out our stateroom window to see castle after castle,” Connie says. The shot of Amsterdam’s Elandsgracht Canal came after a romantic dinner at Restaurant Christophé. She used a Nikon Coolpix S51.
