Just when you thought flash sales were on their way out … think again!
Name: TheLuxeNomad.com
What it does: Offers flash-sale deals for luxury-minded hotels and resorts in the Asia-Pacific region and Europe.
What’s hot: Like many other flash-sale hotel websites, the pictures beckon. I particularly appreciated the slider wheel of photos with hotel information, prices and travel tips all right there. Info on local attractions, maps, tips and the “fine print” really helped me because I haven’t been to many of these exotic locations. Need more choices? Check out “More Destinations.” They are not currently on sale, but I found luxe options in Bali for less than $200 a night that looked bookable.
What’s not: I’d use this site as an introduction to great properties and prices you might not otherwise find. When I tested a deal at a resort and spa in Vietnam, I found the same “discounted” price offered on the resort’s website.
