Concorde Hotels’ summer sale takes up to 30% off rooms in Paris and elsewhere

Concorde Hotels & Resorts is offering a summer sale of up to 30% off selected hotels in Paris and other locations in Europe and North Africa.
The deal: Check out the list of hotels that are running the Summer Offer to see if this deal will work for you. I like the discounts on the Paris hotels because they are centrally located and represent a pretty low rate for a stay in the City of Light. Also, reservations are held with a credit card, but you can cancel as late as 4 p.m. on the date of arrival without penalties.
When: The offer is good for stays through Aug. 31.
Tested: I recently checked two locations in Paris for a four-night stay starting Aug. 9 under the deal.
The Hotel Concorde Montparnasse (40, rue du Commandant Mouchotte) had rooms with a queen bed for $161 a night, including tax. By comparison, the best available rate for the same dates without the deal was $230 a night, including tax.
The Hotel Du Louvre (Place Andre Malraux), close to the Arc de Triomphe and other landmarks, cost $266 a night including tax.By comparison, the best available rate for the same dates was $380 a night.
