Oh, sure, your iPad/iPhone/iPod has a zillion apps. But can it turn the lights on? Actually, it can do that — and more — if you have your device docked in the TimeCommand.
The sleek, round speaker/base-cum-digital clock has an app (of course) that coordinates your Apple device’s alarm system with any bedside lamp you plug into the base. You can synchronize dual alarms to wake you to lamp light and/or music.
The app also brings in a 10-band graphic equalizer, bass enhancer and Internet radio playback. Now any room anywhere becomes a light and sound show.
