St. Joseph‘s somewhat surprising run in the Southern Section-Toyota Division IV playoffs has come to an end.

After their victory over the Seraphs, I liked the Knights’ chances in this contest, but Diamond Ranch illustrated it’s a pretty decent team despite its third-place finish in Miramonte League play. Of course, that 200-mile road trip through the rain from Santa Maria to Pomona probably didn’t help the Knights, either.
