Boys’ basketball: Animo South wins City small schools title

Brian Cook’s only basket of the game was a big one. He made a three-pointer with eight seconds left to give Animo South a 49-47 victory over View Park Prep in the City Section small schools final. It was the first title for Animo South.

Sheldon Wright, an All-City guard, scored 30 points for View Park. William Brown and Kyree Jefferson had 15 points each for Animo South.
