A 16-year-old Hoover High School student was fatally shot Saturday over an apparent disagreement about damage to a car, a police spokeswoman said.
Lisa Martin was found by police about 1:30 p.m., lying on the sidewalk in the 4000 block of 43rd Street, dead of an apparent gunshot wound to the abdomen, the spokeswoman said. Witnesses told police the victim was arguing with Tyrone J. Johnson, 24, before the shooting. Police are seeking Johnson for questioning.
