A 23-year-old sailor stationed at Miramar Naval Air Station was arrested there Sunday in the shooting death of a 16-year-old Hoover High School student. Tyrone Johnson was taken into custody about 1:30 a.m. and later booked into county jail on suspicion of murder with no bail. Johnson is accused of shooting Lisa Martin in the 4000 block of 43rd street about 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Witnesses told police that the victim was arguing with Johnson about damage to a car prior to the shooting. Martin was found dead on the sidewalk. The coroner’s office reported that Martin died of a gunshot wound to the chest.
