Roundup at Denver Ponds Nets Dozens of Wild Geese

DENVER — State wildlife officers captured dozens of wild geese around city ponds Tuesday as part of a four-day roundup to thin the huge flocks on Colorado’s Front Range.
The geese will be given to wildlife officers from New Mexico, Wyoming, Kansas and Nebraska.
