UCLA Women Defeat USC for Third Place

UCLA, led by senior outside hitter Wendy Fletcher’s 11 kills, defeated USC, 15-3, 15-4, 15-8, Sunday for third place in the Wendy’s women’s volleyball tournament at University of Pacific. Nancy Hillman had 10 kills for USC.
Pacific, the No. 1 ranked team in the nation and the defending NCAA championship, defeated Nebraska in the championship match, 15-8, 15-11, 15-12.
